By TOM GILLMAN, Associated Press WriterLONDON (AP) — HBO is expanding its movie-focused TV series to Hulu in a deal that includes an initial slate of 10 original series.
The deal, announced Thursday, expands HBO’s TV slate, which includes the popular “Game of Thrones” and “Silicon Valley,” to Hulu starting Aug. 1.
The first of the new shows is “Mad Men.”
The new shows will include “The Killing” from creator David Benioff and co-executive producer Robert Singer and a “Breaking Bad” spinoff.HBO said the initial slate includes new series, documentaries and dramas.
The company also announced it will release four films that it’s currently developing for the streaming service, including a feature film and a TV movie based on a short story by Michael Crichton.
